Disappointing to see that the so-called full statistics rreport issued alongside the results lists only the top 16 of the novel nominations, whereas the administrators report implies there were more than 200 titles actually nominated.
Somewhat mollified to note that Hopeland by Ian MacDonald was one of those 16.

Started reading the Tesh yesterday.
Not quite sure what to think when the first two pages reminds me simultaneously of a common 1980s era joke and a Santayana quote both.
