Many years ago, before I had the great pleasure of meeting all of you and receiving the benefit of your excellent reading recommendations, I mostly only read, and reread, CJC. Many forays into other writers’ works were disappointing and unsatisfactory. Lately I’ve been doing a reread of a number of my comfort books, and today i started rereading the Chanur saga, for the first time in quite a while. All I can say is, that woman can surely write. She is absolutely amazing. Every single thing about these books is remarkable. Unlike some old favorites, that don’t survive the passage of time, these books are even better than I remembered. 🥂to CJC!

I agree. CJ can write -- and her characters are believable even though they are fictitious.
