    True story - SWMBO and I changed the date of our wedding in 1988 so it didn't clash with his concert here in darkest Canberra.  We had a great time - his band that night included Steve 'the Colonel' Cropper on guitar, Donald 'Duck' Dunn on bass, and the incomparable Rita Coolidge on vocals. Absolute magic.


     

    It's a strange world.  Let's keep it that way.

    Yes, 'Tac, that is the chief Parrothead.  Concert was in Cincinnati to a packed crowd.  I had bought my ticket last year before the pandemic, and they honored it this year.  The people around me were great, and when they found out it was my first Buffett concert, they welcomed me as if I'd been there 40 times.
