I just finished this, which was the June babbler. It was certainly a fast paced read, but I really didn’t like it. The breathlessness of movement from one scene of carnage to another was actually tedious, and the way the main character punctuated her internal narrative with apologia for her love of combat and her explanations of why she felt no pity or remorse for those she slaughtered seemed out of place and peculiar. I would not recommend this.
