What's the Temp in your Neck o'the Woods?
Here in Vegas it's a balmy 63°or 17° C, and the overnight lows are 40°F or 4.5C. How about your place?

Right now (just after 9am Thursday morning local time) it's sitting at 23 deg C in Canberra, on its way to a forecast high of 36 C. Yesterday got to 42 deg C, and the overnight low was 18 C. Back to 40 deg C tomorrow supposedly.
This is unseasonally hot for a Canberra summer by about 10 deg C or so. Other parts of the country have it worse than us.
It's a strange world. Let's keep it that way.

Last night it was a biting 1 degree Fahrenheit or -17 Celsius. But now we are up to a clear crisp 18 Fahrenheit or -8 Celsius. Just took the dog for a long walk. Kept monitoring my nose for possible frostbite.

It was a whole 26 F today (-3 C). I spent an hour shoveling snow from the porches and parking lot, then a little at the end of the driveway to make sure the mail delivery only has to drive over 3 inches of solid ice instead 6 inches of ice and snow. In the last 15 minutes, I had to take off my coat because it was too hot.

it's 4pm ish on Monday afternoon here in Canberra and it's about 22 deg C which is kind of cool for this part of summer but much more comfortable than last weeks heatwave conditions. Supposedly we'll be back up to mid 30s deg C over the next week which is much more normal for here for late summer in the Southern hemisphere. Commiserations to those suffering the cold and ice north of the equator.
It's a strange world. Let's keep it that way.

Here in southern RI it's been in the single digits for the last week. I I think it was in the minus a few times. Hasn't gone above freezing since it snowed last week. This is not really unusual for our area, but still annoying. We have had many a year where it has not gone above freezing for weeks at a time.....again annoying! I am not a winter person!Happy Imbolc/ Groundhog/ Candlemas.........Half your wood and half your hay you should have left on Candlemas Day.
