Kokipy, I don't think I was saying that a woman cannot have a bond with an adoptive child. As the brother of an adopted sister, I tell you familial bonding does indeed take place with an adopted child. What I am saying is that the bond a caring mother has for her child starts before birth if the child is growing within her. Where as, this bond starts later if the child is adopted. I am not saying one is inferior to the other. I am merely saying, with all the difficulties in life, it's better for some to have that connection earlier.
