This week I swan dived into the world of digital art, when the arrival of a brand new Artist 12 XP-PEN graphic pen display (aka a graphics tablet) arrived at my door on Monday. After some fiddling about drawing a brief grayscale sketch to get used to the stylus and the program I chose (a free software called FireAlpaca), I then whipped out three projects of increasing complexity, two of which have been/are being recorded and uploaded to youtube.
Two are World of Warcraft game characters, and the third (currently in progress) is a commissioned piece, cover art for one of our members web novels (some of you may remember Sable Jak).
This is my Youtube channel, where you can follow my digital paintings:
As an artist, it would of course honor me if you would Like and Subscribe to my channel to show your encouragement and support! <3
And now, I shall add some art. :D

Awesome! I particularly like the demon hunter -- very nice lighting in particular, and I love your line quality.
How is the cover art coming? I'd love to see it!

I've got an iPad and I mostly use Procreate (not free), although sometimes I end up using Sketchbook Pro (free) -- the latter has, IMO, better tools for doing symmetry, because you can do radial symmetry with however many spokes you want, while with Procreate you're locked to two or eight.
Here are a couple of illustrations I've done with the Foreigner series in mind:
Machigi, having a bad day, on top of which, his hair has come undone. THIS IS AN OUTRAGE!
Banner from the classic Marid machimi, "The Seven Taisigiin". ; )
- Mod-aijiin, please feel free to either let me know, or delete, if this is in the wrong place.

<laughing> How could she not? It's got everything! Strategy, nobility, combat, inappropriate attachment, and a scoundrel-turned-hero! Best. Machimi. Ever. ; )

One sees that you've progressed over the years. Well done.

I love that banner, and wonder about the felicity of the symbols --- 6+1+1 !! Yikes!

Well, I would say that the last symbol isn't a symbol, per se -- it is a letter, and stands on its own, to represent what the other seven are fighting/striving for (which in and of itself is an abstract concept, where as the other seven represent actual people).
As for the people, the 6+1 is completely deliberate. Their association is infelicitous without their scoundrel. : )

And it's the most copied machimi, too.
