Not sure if you've seen this classic from Cheapass Games, but it is the opposite of Clue: the goal is to kill the eponymous Dr. Lucky in the garden with the shears etc. If you're not familiar with it, it's basically the cheapest and most portable thing ever: game and floor plan cards printed on card stock. You provide the markers. It is gloriously, hilariously cheap. Gamewise, certain limitations include that you can't assassinate Dr. Lucky if other players' markers are in a position to be able to see into the room you're in with your victim.
I was playing this with the family a while ago and it occurred to me that the Assassin's Guild would love this game. I got it into my head: Bren Cameron trying to explain how this game works to Machigi's senior security.
Tema: <considering the board> So one cannot assassinate the target within the line-of-sight of others? Ah! So humans do understand finesse!
Meanwhile, Frochano* is asking questions, and Bren isn't sure whether to be amused or appalled.
Bren: No, Frochano-nadi. The roof is not accessible. <later> No, the crawlspaces are not accessible either. <patiently> No, Frochano-nadi, you may not alter the house's wiring. <raises an eyebrow> Could that not result in an indiscriminate result, nadi?
Frochano: One has said too much.
* Machigi refers to Tema's partner as "Fro-ji", so this name is pure conjecture on my part.
I think that if Assassins did have this game, it would rapidly become hugely complicated and very interesting. And probably classified.

Haven't heard of this one, but shall now have to go looking for it ... it sounds intriguing.

It's really fun, provided you have the right mix of lively participants. ; )

I love the sound of this game! It is a board game, I am assuming?
