The books are a bit smaller than a US paperback. They are paperback, but with color dustjackets. 

I got these because of the cover art. I thought the depiction of the Norway was excellent, and Pell Station, while different from the very classic US "wheel station from 2001" look, it actually might make more sense this way. The schematics are also new, and look to be copied from the US edition. The Norway's nose and docking probes are different, and I think look better than the US edition.
