In her most recent book "The Folded Sky", Elizabeth Bear has a really nice nod to CJ and the Chanur books. I can't get a picture to post, but here's a link on Imagur (should be totally safe). I asked EB on Bluesky and she confirmed. Very cool to have another major author as a visible fan.

Nice find.

I'm overdue for a Chanur re-read.  This might be the spur I've needed.
