    It's the sequel to Alliance Rising. The formation of Alliance, and the (possible) discovery of the long-anticipated jumppoint to Earth...

    Yes, as per Kroyd's description.

    Also at the risk of a mild spoiler elsewhere it's probably worth mentioning that it fits the overall AU timeline at a point much earlier in the career of the James Robert who retires his active captaincy during the events of Finity's End .

    Amazon says "This title will be auto-delivered to your Kindle on October 15, 2024." I hope it's sooner.
