    Something I read said the new movie is well done but "predictable". You can bet that if the makers did anything different, purists would be howling about that. I didn't mind the prior version with Styng et al m'self.

    Predictable? Isn’t that a bit of an odd thing to say about the movie version of a famous book? We’ve already read it, so of course it’s predictable!
